How to reach: Little Andaman is accessible from Sri Vijaya Puram by government ferry and, subject to current operations, helicopter service. Government ferries operated by the Directorate of Shipping Services connect Haddo Wharf in Sri Vijaya Puram with Hut Bay. The ferry journey generally takes around 6 to 8 hours, depending on sea conditions and the service. Helicopter services are also available on a limited basis, with the journey taking considerably less time. Visitors should check the latest schedule and availability before travelling.

Little Andaman is best suited to travelers who are comfortable with a more remote island experience. Facilities and tourism infrastructure are more limited than on Swaraj Dweep or Shaheed Dweep, so visitors should plan accommodation, transport, food and other essentials in advance.

The island is especially attractive during the drier tourism months, when sea conditions are generally more suitable for travel and outdoor activities. However, weather conditions in the Andaman Islands can change quickly, and ferry services and outdoor activities may be affected by rough seas or heavy rainfall.
